1. Free Plan
The Free plan requires no payment. No refund applicable.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds for partial months
- No refund if you have actively used the service during the billing period
3. Annual Subscriptions
- Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund if you have not used the service extensively (fewer than 5 cases created)
- After 7 days: No refund. You may continue using the service until the end of your annual term
- Annual subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel at least 3 days before renewal to avoid charges
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email us at billing@vakalat.in with subject "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email, plan name, and reason
- We will respond within 48 hours
- Approved refunds processed within 7-10 business days
5. How to Cancel
- Go to Profile > Subscription Status
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
- Your data remains accessible on the Free plan
6. Downgrade Policy
When you downgrade to a lower plan:
- Your existing data is NOT deleted
- You cannot create new cases beyond the lower plan's limit
- All existing cases remain viewable and editable
7. Service Interruption
If we fail to provide the service for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the downtime period.
